There’s “more than meets the eye” with the Jackson USA PC1.

Let’s cut right to the chase, this guitar has the coolest sustainer system I’ve ever played, period! If you’re not familiar with a sustainer system, it’s basically like an Ebow that is mounted in the neck pick-up and it allows you to make crazy sounds. I love to go nuts on the whammy bar, but with the sustainer I can go way beyond that. The system allows for unlimited normal sustain, or, at the flick of a switch, sustain the quickly modulates to an upper harmonic like crazy demon screams. If Jimi Hendrix had one of these our world would be a different place.

Even if the California made Jackson USA PC1 didn’t have the Sustainer System, it’s still a killer guitar. It has a Dimarzio Super 3 bridge pick-up, and I love that (finally, something other than a JB bridge pickup). The middle position has a stacked, noiseless single coil and the neck has a Hot Rails with the Sustainer Driver.

Did I forget to mention, every PC1 I’ve seen has been absolutely gorgeous. Just look at the crazy quilted maple tops Jackson puts on these Mahogany bodies, and the stains they use are beautiful, and even the Au Natural without stain is truly stunning.

I haven’t even talked about playability yet, don’t worry, these guitars SHRED! Shipped from Jackson with heavy gauge strings, we immediately re-string these with 9s… because we shred here at Rainbow Guitars!

In summary, these guitars play great, sound awesome, look beautiful, and are pure USA made, Jackson Heavy Metal machines built for destruction.

Metal Rules.
