Supro 1966 Thunderbolt 1X15 Amplifier
Item: USTHUNDERBOLT
Supro amplifiers were made by the Valco company in Chicago. The Supro Thunderbolt was introduced in late 1964 as a bass guitar amp. The results are similar to what happened to Fender when they introduced their Bassman amp. Guitar players eventually stumbled on these amps as their hidden jewel for tone. This model S6420 with it's black tolex covering and single 15" Jensen speaker will definitely remind you of the tones of Jimmy Page on the early Zeppelin recordings.
