Klein Pickups has a unique approach to making their bass pickups. They use state of the art technology to analyze all the parts from actual vintage pickups, magnets, wire, etc. and they then duplicate them. They literally make most of their materials.
The magnets, which contribute a lot to the tone of original vintage pickups, are analyzed by a metallurgical lab and then reproduced exactly like the originals.
