Gibson 1967 Barney Kessel
Item: USBARNEYKESSELREG
During the late 1950's Barney Kessell was one of the most popular jazz guitar players in America. In recognition of this, Gibson introduced in 1961 this double Florentine cutaway shaped jazz guitar. The 17" body is similar in size to the popular L5 model. It has the 25 1/2" scale length and plays with ease. I remember seeing a picture of T Bone Walker in the 1960's playing one of these. Hey if it was good enough for him...This guitar is in very nice original condition.
Comes in a hard shell case.
