Designed by Jeff Loomis of metal masters Nevermore, this extended scale 7-String Schecter electric guitar features an arched ash body with a set-in 26.5" scale maple neck. The longer scale generates the depth of tone required for body-slamming modern Metal crunch. Schecter's UltraAaccess joint yields unobstructed access to the 24th fret and the maple fingerboard has black metal cross inlays to complement the C7 guitar's Vampyre Red Satin finish.
Nevermore's guitarist tone is conjured from dual EMG 707 Active humbuckers. The locking Floyd Rose system yields not only rock solid tuning and intonation, but also increased sonic clarity. Grover Tuners, Black hardware are standard on the new Schecter Loomis 7 FR.

Features:
- Tuners - Grover ROTOMATICS with 18:1 gear ratio (102-18 SERIES) The original Rotomatic with an improved higher ratio gearing. The 18:1 ratio provides for finer tuning and greater stability. The finer gears provide smoother tuning and a higher degree of backlash elimination
- Finger Board - Maple Very bright and dense, Maple is highly reflective. When used on a fretboard, Maple encourages tremendous amounts of higher overtones and its tight, almost filtered away bass favors harmonics and variations in pick attack.
- Pickups - EMG Active 707 The 707 has been leading the pack of 7-string guitar pickups since its debut in 2001. Before this model was introduced, existing 7-string pickups sounded muddy and dull on the low B string, especially when trying to hit artificial and natural harmonics, but the 707 eliminated all those problems. Featuring Alnico V loaded wide aperture coils we were able to beef up that Low B tone and at the same time provide a more responsive super tight overall sound.
- Bridge - Original Floyd Rose Tremolo The Floyd Rose Tremolo System is used by more professionals throughout the world than any other. No copy can duplicate the patented double-locking design of the Floyd Rose Tremolo System that allows you to lock your guitar in tune at the nut and at the bridge. The Floyd Rose Tremolo System is engineered like no other tremolo system.
