Seymour Duncan Vintage Broadcaster Pickup Set
Item: SD1120804
The Fender Broadcaster was one of the early solid bodies to hit the rock n roll scene when it was highlighted by none other than Jeff Beck in the Yardbirds. The sound of this early Tele type guitar was both twangy, raw and aggressive. The Seymour Duncan Vintage Broadcaster pickup set captures that tone.
The lead (bridge) pickup duplicates this sought-after vintage sound with larger-diameter (.197") pole pieces in a flat pole piece orientation. Compared to other vintage Tele pickups, this pickup has slightly more output and more snarl in the mids. It comes with waxed cloth hookup cable.
The rhythm (neck) pickup compliments the bright twang of the lead pickup with a smooth and open tone, warm lower-mids and airy highs. This pickup omes with a chrome-plated brass cover and waxed cloth hookup cable.
