The PRS Signature Limited Edition provides the features of last year’s Private Stock Signature guitar at a fraction of the price, and this one comes in a smoking hot color called Faded Abalone.
The new pickup design provides an untraditional approach to coil tapping that is revolutionary. When the tap switch is engaged, the humbucker is tapped to a single coil and an additional coil is added to increase the output, this makes the tapped humbucker/single coil the same volume as the full humbucker, and it really works. This is one of the coolest new innovations I saw at NAMM 2012.
