This Fano PX6 is very simular to our Koa topped JM6 with the most noticeable difference being the shape of the neck. The PX6 offers a traditional late 50s round back neck carve and has a full, solid feeling neck. The fingerboard radius also differs from the JM6 with a more modern approach, a 10” to 16” compound radius and a shorter 24.75" scale length, a real string benders delight.
The tone of this guitar is exactly what you’d expect from Fano, pure, sweet, rich, and highly expressive goodness, this time with P90s.
This Fano PX6 stands out from the crowd primarily because of it’s beautiful Flamed Koa top, and Korina neck and body. The very light “finish distressing” gives the guitar an aged appearance, but allows all of the beauty to shine through. The matching Flamed Koa headstock is merely icing on this soulful cake.
