There are several reasons why I love this guitar, first off, is the color. The first time I saw this guitar I thought of Steve McQueen’s Bullit Mustang, and that great Olive color from the 60’s. Secondly, I really like the sound of these Lollar Inperial pickups, Lollar degausses the magnets to make them as authentic to a vintage humbucker as you can get. These pickups have real bite, with a slight hint of “single coil focus”, but in a fuller ranged humbucker.
The Fano MG6 plays great and has a smooth lacquer finished neck, and tall 6105 frets for digging in. If you like vintage looks and tone, you’ll love this guitar, if you like tearing up the fretboard, you’ll like this guitar even more because of it’s modern playability.
