Basically a single coil pickup, the Promag Gold has that brighter, clear sound that is often lost in humbuckers but a third coil is employed to cancel hum. The Promag Gold slips into the sound hole with felt pads that won't mar the finish and an attached cable with a user-repairable plug goes to the amp.
