The SP1X2 provides one direct and one transformer isolated output from a mic level input. The transformer isolated output features a ground lift switch.
The direct output is a straight through connection from the input jack and will pass phantom power. The isolated output provides a low impedance (150 Ohms) balanced output signal through a Whirlwind TRSP transformer and WILL NOT pass phantom power.
The ground lift switch disconnects the ground between the input and the output when set to the LIFT position. Ground remains connected when set to the GND position. The direct output always has a
connected ground.
