SB Series Mic Splitter
Free ground shipping to the U.S.
Whirlwind SB Series multichannel microphone splitters provide a convenient method of splitting multiple microphone signals to two locations. A common example would be splitting the stage signals in order to send them to both a FOH console and a monitor or recording console.
Each channel has a Whirlwind WC3FQ female XLR input connector wired to two Whirlwind WC3MQ male XLR outputs - available with either two direct outputs or one direct and one transformer isolated output. These can be ordered with ground lift switches on one output. SB Series Mic Splitters can be ordered with anywhere from 6 to 24 inputs.
A major benefit of using a transformer split is that it increases each leg's ability to reject interference (and the resulting buzzes and hums) by improving the “balanced” characteristic of the line (called “Common Mode Rejection” or CMR).
The boxes are built from heavy cold-rolled steel for long term abuse-resistance.
The specific product that may be ordered from this page is the Whirlwind SB24T11G. There are 24 XLR(F) mic inputs, 24 XLR(M) paralleled outputs and 24 XLR(M) transformer isolated outputs. Also included are 24 Ground Lift switches for the split outs.
Please contact Rainbow Guitars for help in ordering the Whirlwind splitter box to meet your exact needs.
