Taylor's 815-ce Cutaway Jumbo Acoustic Electric delivers the extra-deep resonance and volume that come with a larger sound chamber. The dramatic Florentine cutaway, sparkling inlay work, and subtle maple binding accentuate the beautiful rosewood and Sitka spruce that give the 815-ce Jumbo it's signature tone and subtleties. Sitka spruce was born to handle aggressive strumming, yet allows for fine articulation, making this Jumbo guitar versitile enough to handle both lead and rhythm playing, making it an example of fine lutherie all around.
It's worthwhile to note a few of Taylor's inovations to acoustic electric guitars. Taylor's Expression System utilizes patented Dynamic Sensors designed to faithfully reproduce your guitar's native tone. Created in partnership with renowned audio pioneer, Rupert Neve, the Taylor Expression System is seamlessly integrated into the design of the guitar to capture top and string vibration. Also, Taylor's innovative ultra violet-cured finish is more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes, and was developed for resistance to cold-checking and maximum durability.
