Paul Reed Smith is best known for making guitars with gorgeously stained top woods, and that’s what makes this guitar so interesting. This is a solid piece of carved Swamp Ash in an opaque finish, Antique White, and it’s beautiful! This guitar really gets looks here in our shop, and sounds amazing.
The PRS NarrowField pickups are extremely versatile and offer a multitude of sound options. Roll the guitar volume to 4 or 5, and this instrument sounds like traditional single coils, take the volume to 7 and it sounds like you’re running P-90s, but take this beast to 10, and you're running HOT humbuckers that will drive any amp. The NarrowField pickups have much more output than PRS’s vintage style humbuckers like the 57/08 or 59/09s.
