Bold, elegant, classic. These are the words PRS uses to describe the Modern Eagle Quatro, and they've hit the nail on the head.
This instrument features the very thin, very hard V12 finish. 12 years in developement, this finish is a cross between nitro and acrylic, and allows the wood to resonate while also enhancing the wood's beauty.
The Pattern Regular neck shape feels comfortable and familiar. This is the same shape as early PRS guitars played by the likes of Santana, Frampton, and Howard Leese.
The 53/10 pickups are fantastic. Simular to the 57/08 (one of my favorites), these pickups take that sound to the next level of greatness. This guitar is so versatile simply using the volume and tone controls.
I give this guitar "two thumbs way up" and believe this guitar to personify the legacy of PRS guitars.
