The Parker Fly Deluxe is the ultimate “high performance” guitar featuring uncompromised playability, tonal flexibility, and features. Parker incorporates 24 Stainless Steel frets, locking Sperzel tuners, a Graphite nut, an innovative tremolo system, and combines all of this with great electric tone and a definitive acoustic tone.
The Parker Fly offers unobstructed access to the 24th fret with a neck/body heel that is almost as thin as the neck itself. The Parker tremolo system uses a piece of “clockspring” steel, instead of traditional springs, and gives a very articulate feel. The Dimarzio magnetic pickups combined with the Graph Tech Ghost piezo saddles deliver a palette of tone unmatched by any other guitar. This guitar utilizes a stereo output jack allowing you to send the electric tone to one amp, and the acoustic sound to a different amp, this is an amazing feature.
I worked very closely with Parker Guitars to create the Parker Custom Fly Deluxe, a Rainbow Guitars exclusive. Our Custom Flys incorporate a new switching system that bypasses the Ghost Acoustiphonic pre-amp board when in the Magnet pickup position. This new function provides the most organic, low noise magnetic signal, and also extends battery life when using magnetic pickups only. Another exclusive feature is the inclusion of a small lever switch on the back of the guitar, when flipped, this lever transforms the fully floating trem to a “dive only” trem, and it can be done instantly without any tools required. - Scott
