Martin has long recognized the excellent tonal qualities of mahogany, with it's bright, clear trebles and warm mid-range. As early as 1917 and up to the 1940's, many Martin guitars were built with tops, sides and backs of mahogany. Today, the 00-15M model continues the Martin tradition with solid, all mahogany construction and a rich satin finish. Among Martin's most affordable solid wood guitars, the 00-15M Grand Concert is also their most visually distinctive and innovative. Features include a rich satin finish, patented Mortise/Tenon neck joint and A-frame “X” bracing for enhanced tone. A very sweet little guitar!
