If you’re one of those players who looks for heavy guitars with incredible sustain, then this is your axe. The Jackson Scott Ian T-1000 has a slightly oversized body built from heavy mahogany, this particular instrument comes in at 9 lbs and 14 oz and has sustain for days.
This instrument features neck thru construction, but has no paint on the back of the neck – just a smooth oil finish built for speed, this is one of my favorite features along with the pickup selector switch on the upper horn.
It’s nice to see Jackson and Scott Ian come up with a new alternative for us shredders, this is an awesome guitar at a killer price. Rejoice and Shred.
