Straight out of the Jackson Custom Shop comes this extremely unique 1H Soloist. The designer, Kurt Walton of the Jackson Custom Shop, and myself, Scott, have decided to call this color Ghost Town Grey. We partially named it this because the guitar appears to be in a living Black and White photo, except of course for the awesome Lime Green pickup and Lime Jackson logo. The grayish satin finish is capable of transforming into any “stage light color” that may be shining on it, color changing like a chameleon. This guitar is 1 of 2 in the entire world, the paint was custom mixed for these twin instruments, and can never be exactly duplicated.

Take a look at the back of this guitar, these cool lines were hand-carved by the one and only Pablo Santana. The belly cut is extra long and the bottom horn scallop is extra deep. This is the kind of beautiful craftsmanship you can only get on a Jackson Custom Shop instrument.

Weighing in at just over 7 lbs, this axe is lightweight, acoustically loud, and built for shredding. The single Duncan SH5 Custom humbucker screams at high gain settings, but cleans up quickly when the volume is rolled down. I literally went from Ratt’s heavy “You’re in Love” to the Beatles acoustic “Blackbird” by only adjusting the volume knob on the guitar, this is crazy. When the volume knob is set low, this humbucker starts to take on a single coil tonality making it great for clean tones, and at full throttle this axe shreds. I have never played a single humbucker/one volume guitar as versatile as this one. Of the 2 in the world, this is obviously the Evil Twin, hell-bent on Metal Mayhem. - Scott
