Jackson Custom Shop SL2H Hardtail Tobacco Sunburst

Item: FE2856432000

Reminiscent of a Jackson I saw in 1988, this killer Mahogany soloist is a welcome addition to Rainbow Guitar’s Custom Shop offerings. The first thing you’ll notice is how classy this Jackson looks, its beautiful Tobacco Sunburst finish embellishes upon an extraordinary piece of Mahogany wood. As with all Jackson Custom Shop guitars, wood selection has always been paramount, and this transparent finish shows proof of that. You can see how great this guitar is going to sound, and I can attest to that, this Jackson sounds amazing. Palm muted gallops are heavy and powerful while the high notes offer a saturated, sweet tone that I find very inspiring. This is like the best Heavy Metal LP style guitar you may ever lay your hands on, and while the pickups are the standard JB and ’59, they sound extra tuneful on this axe. The neck is a little rounder and slightly larger than your standard SL2H and this contributes to the LP feel.

If you’ve been looking for a killer non-trem shredding machine, look no further and buy this one today. - Scott

My first good guitar was a Japanese made Charvel Model 4 from 1986, I loved the neck on that guitar and it was in my price range at the time. After I started gigging regularly, I strived to own a USA ... Read More
