The Jackson Randy Rhoads “V” has become the most iconic shape of Heavy Metal guitars, and is instantly recognizable as a Jackson. This Jackson Custom Shop RR1 is part of the new Custom Select series, and is 1 of 10 pieces made for the entire world. I brought this one back from the 2013 NAMM show.
This is your basic RR1, but built in the Custom Shop, and bling’d out with all Chrome hardware. The pickguard is so shiny it’s like a mirror, and adds serious attitude to this already menacing axe. If you want to stand out from the pack, this is the way to do it, and did I mention, this guitar also sounds killer. The overall mass of this instrument gives the RR1 it’s signature rock solid tone.
