One of my favorite Gretsch guitars ever produced is the White Penguin. When the Custom Shop offered to make us Penguins' in alternate colors we tried to come up with some great looking alternative finishes. Finished in a light black relic finish this one definitely is a mean looking Penguin.
The USA Gretsch Custom Shop is currently producing some of the most stunning, accurate and just flat out "to die for" guitars that I have seen in the last 35 years. With its Cadillac "G" style tailpiece Gold Grover Imperial tuners and gold sparkle binding this definitely has all the right stuff. The TV Jones Classic Pickups give it that classic vintage Gretsch sound and nobody builds a better guitar than Stephen Stern.
