The heart of the Les Paul Junior has always been found in its hot, raw P-90 pickup, and this guitar is no different. This accurate reproduction of Gibson's favorite single-coil pickup is wound with 42-AWG wire and employs a pair of genuine Alnico V bar magnets for a sound that is equally as smooth as it is snarly, with characteristic P-90 edge and bite to cut through any mix. Hardware includes a "lightning bar" wraparound tailpiece with raised compensated saddle ridge for improved intonation and vintage-style tuners with white plastic buttons retain the retro styling up at the headstock.
