Manufactured in the Custom Shop by Gibson’s world renown craftsman in Nashville Tennessee this is where you will find their finest version of the 1959 ES 335. The attention to detail is at its highest standard and the extra “mojo” makes their 335's a pure joy to play. With the right feeling '59 neck shape once you put your hands on it you won't want to put it down.
With the addition of the custom Candy Apple Red finish, custom "Split Diamond" fingerboard inlays and diamond f-holes this is very reminiscent of a Dave Grohl 335 but with the traditional Gibson headstock. This is from a very recent run that the Custom Shop produced of 2 instruments.
High-quality CTS volume and tone potentiometers with “bumble bee” capacitors offer a fundamental electronics package, thus insuring the guitar’s unique tone is captured and delivered with the utmost accuracy and originality. Other traditional appointments include vintage tulip tuners; a holly headstock veneer and a ABR-1 bridge and lightweight aluminum stop bar tailpiece.
