A very limited amount of these Gibson Flying V Customs are floating around out there. This is a brand new 2011 model. The Flying V Custom with it's Les Paul Custom appointments is simply one of the most ingenious designs to come out of the custom shop. They used the '58 V as a template. This time they are breaking out some amazing looking flame maple tops and using the standard Les Paul bridege set-up. They also used one piece of mahogany for the body, instead of the usual two pieces that a '58 version uses. This is one of the best playing, feeling Flying V's ever produced. Truly the king of V's.
