Limited Edition - only 100 pieces of each model. All four limited models feature 2-piece Korina bodies and Pao Ferro fretboards on Quartersawn Eastern Maple necks. Sporting sumptuous finishes and cosmetic appointments to highlight the natural beauty of these tone woods, the G&L Korina Collection is proudly made in the USA at G&L’s factory on Fender Ave. in Fullerton, California.

The Korina Collection ASAT Deluxe II was a natural once the ASAT Junior II came about. With the completed Junior II prototype being played by just about everyone in the factory, Duane Boulanger, R&D tech, custom build craftsman and Custom Creations crewmember, was the first to state the obvious to the rest of us: “You realize this is a natural for two humbuckers, don’t you?” A few cups of coffee later, a Korina body spread was being carved up in the wood shop. After all, there’s no question that dual-humbuckers and Korina go together like chocolate and peanut butter. How would it fare in a 25 ½” scale, bolt-on guitar? Turns out, spectacularly. With a feel that any G&L fan would be delighted with, the Korina-bodied ASAT Deluxe brings tighter focus to a classic tone.
