The Pro-EQ Platinum Preamp is Fishman's premium acoustic guitar equalizer and direct box, as well as preamp. The input gain and clip LED let you input in the proper amount of output from your guitar to dial in clean acoustic tone. The four band EQ with sweepable midrange precisely shapes and sculpts bass tone, while the feedback-fighting notch filter helps control troublesome frequencies. Smooth out amplified acoustics with Fishman's exclusive compression smooth control while pushing your sound through the Pro-EQ’s doubler circuit for more clarity and greater dynamics. The Pro-EQ Platinum Preamp does all of that plus, doubles a low impedance direct input to a mixing console while being powered by either 9v battery, 48V phantom or AC adapter. Fishman packed the Pro-EQ Platinum with a rack’s worth of serious acoustic processing, all in a stomp box-sized package.
