This Fano SP6 looks so cool with it’s Aluminum pickguard, and bound Ebony fretboard and block inlays. It combines classic “best of the best” features into one incredible instrument. This guitar has bite in the bridge, milky mellow tones in the neck, a classic “both pickups” sound, and cleans up really nice when the volume is rolled down. Rainbow has taken this vintage look to a new level of playability with tall skinny frets, a worn “back of neck” finish, and killer Fralin pickups.
The SP6 also features a superior bridge assembly, which has a lot of mass to it, and has been redesigned for modern day players. The sides of the ashtray have been removed for better accessibility to the strings, and the brass saddles have beveled tops that create a truly intonated “3 brass saddle” bridge.
