There’s more than meets the eye with this Fano RB6 Gold Top.
First off, the one piece body is made from very light, solid Mahogany weighing less than 6.5 lbs. The bound Gold top has a German carve, but is not a Maple cap, the entire body is one piece of Mahogany, very cool. Secondly, the tone of this guitar is incredible. Compared to an Alder body, this Mahogany RB6 has more high-midrange tone, and a sharper attack that creates a sweetened overdrive through any tube amp.
With a smooth lacquered neck, 6105 frets, Fralin pickups, and a Tone Pros bridge, this guitar is inspiring to play, and is now another one of my favorites. This tree has been reborn.
