For the first time in the history of the Casino, Epiphone and Dwight Yoakam collaborated to give the "Dwight Trash" Casino a Beveled Reverse Firebird style headstock. This allows bass strings to have a slightly looser tension and treble strings to have a higher tension while still retaining the Casino's personality. For fans of the Dwight Yoakam sound who seek a low, almost baritone quality from the low strings but want to stay in standard tuning, the Beveled Reverse Firebird™ style headstock is a huge plus. Now, lead players who love to play melody lines on the low strings will have a deep, articulate twang while still maintaining the chiming, bell-like treble tones the Casino is known for.
