Benedetto Manhattan Custom
Item: FEBENEDETTOCUST
The Manhattan guitar has become the signature model of the Benedetto archtop line. Made under Bob’s scrupulous supervision, the Manhattan consists of only the finest materials, designs and craftsmanship, including the Benedetto fine–lined binding package, unbound ebony fingerrest and Benedetto cello–style tailpiece.
This Custom Manhattan was made for the 2004 NAMM Show and is a one of a kind piece. Firstly, two full sized humbuckers are mounted to the Spruce top, the back, sides, and headstock veneer have been stained, and lastly, a coil tap has been implemented using a “push-pull” tone control.
This Manhattan Custom was built under Bob Benedetto's close supervision at the Guild Custom Shop in Nashville, TN—ensuring an inimitable instrument of the highest caliber. The serial number label is hand signed by Bob himself.
This is "New Old Stock" from 2004. This fine instrument has been tucked away in it's case since that time.
