Bubinga shells were first introduced by TAMA to provide drummers with a kit that has a richer lower tone than that of it's maple counterparts.  At 4.5 mm, these thinner higher density shells provide rich, fat low end as well as deep, dark tones. The thinner shells allow the drum to vibrate more freely creating optimum resonance allowing these drums to really sing. This huge 7pc kit is perfect for drummers of all playing styles and genres.
