DW’s 5500TD Heavy Duty Delta II Two-Leg Hi-Hat Stand has an extra heavy-duty 1.25” base, and a two-leg design for ease of access for double bass pedals. The 5500TD utilizes a ball bearing hinge and DW's unique bearing link connector, which connects the footboard chain to the pull rod for reduced friction and increased sensitivity. The 5500TD features the lateral cymbal seat adjustment which utilizes a specially made nylon insert wing nut for easily adjusting the angle of the bottom cymbal, even while playing. Also, there are integrated memory locks on all tube joints that guarantee 100%repeatable, precise height settings every time, swivel legs which allow easy positioning of bass drum pedals, as well as other stands around the
hi-hat stand, and the SM379 locking clutch which is standard on all 5000 Series Hi-Hat Stands. A great professional choice.
