The Music Man® designed pickup uses a third hidden coil for noise cancellation, connected to a three way switch which offers 3 distinct voices; series, parallel and single coil. Sterling's three band active preamp is based on Music Man's design and offers boost/cut for bass, mid and treble frequencies. Great bass tones with low noise and price! Blue balls!
