This is a satin-finish Lace Aluma J Bass neck pickup. The Aluma J Bass pickup has all you'd expect from a Lace Alumitone: Passive, high-output, patented "current-driven" technology only available through Lace, and a deep, clean J Bass tone.

The Lace Aluma pickup offers a much broader band response with huge bottom end, midrange and clear yet smooth highs. With a huge sounding passive design, cool looks and great sound, this radical departure from conventional pickup technology and design is aluminum based, rather than copper. The result is a very quiet responsive pickup with less resistance, higher output coupled to a "current driven design" as opposed to conventional voltage based pickups. Alumitone pickups are produced with an aluminum water jet cut exoskeleton matted to a micro winding, which uses 90% less fine copper wire, creating a nicely equalized, light weight, low impedance/high impedance pickup.
