Guild Starfire II GSR Electric Bass Dark Cherry

Item: FE3820200888

Touted as one the 10 most important electric basses in Rock & Roll history, the Guild Starfire Bass with two pickups, introduced in 1967, was popularized during the psychedelic movement by Jack Cassady of the Jefferson Airplane and Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead. And now, it’s back. In early Fall of 2012, we visited the Guild factory to discover they were planning to re-issue the distinctive Starfire Bass. We placed our order on the spot, knowing how much the bass, many have seen being played on various old TV shows and at Woodstock, had been missed all these years. The Starfire II is a Guild Short Run (GSR) instrument, and will only be available for a short time. Don’t delay.
