The Fender Custom Shop 2012 Closet Classic P Bass Pro is the marriage of 2 of the greatest basses of all time – The P Bass and the J Bass, and includes both vintage and modern features.

It’s interesting that the headstock reads “Precision Bass”, because this is a Jazz Bass neck, and a great feeling 60’s J Bass neck to boot. The Body and Pickguard, however, are that of a P Bass, and the vintage styled pickups come from both instruments. Having the tone of 2 incredible vintage basses in one instrument has been enhanced even further with a modern Bad Ass III bridge.
