The Fender Blender Custom is a recreation of one of the most unique distortions ever produced. Originally issued in the 70's, the Fender Blender combines fuzz, compression, and ring modulation for a particularly nasty, in-your-face distortion with a hint of octave-fuzz tonality. Players such as Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins and Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine use of original Blender pedals has elevated these originals to the status of coveted vintage treasures that go for big bucks.
This reissue is a very accurate clone. It is made for guitar players who want an ultra-aggressive sound that is unique. The Fender Blender Custom is capable of a wide array of sounds that no other octave/fuzz pedal can provide.
