The TL-2 is a true bypass, analog metal distortion pedal that produces many different metal tones with the use of the flexible three band controls and the Tight/Loose mode switch. The Tight/Loose switch controls the "tightness" of the low end and adjusts the mid-range frequency to provide the best overall tone. The TL-2 produces a tight, low-end focus perfect for modern, progressive metal. The loose setting produces loose low-end grind tones. So, if you are looking for a fast, tight low-end with a crunch top or a throaty low roar with high end sizzle; the TL-2 is your pedal. Due to the constant high-voltage operation of the HardWire series pedals, the TL-2 is at home both on the pedalboard or in the effects loop of an amp, where standard pedals distort due to the large signal from the amplifier's loop.
