There is a reason why the Boss TU-12 has been around for decades; it's a great tuner! Analog tuners, with real moving meters, are extremely accurate and easy to read. The TU-12 has proven to be one of the best tunersfor any instrument. Now Boss has introduced the next generation of TU-12 tuners, the Boss TU-12EX. In addition to analog accuracy and a large readable meter, the TU-12EX features Accu-Pitch, which verifies perfect tunings with a beep, so you can literally tune withoiut even looking at the tuner. This featiure makes the Boss TU-12EX indispensible for visually impaired musicians as well. The TU-12EX can also be preset for guitar and bass tunings up to 6 frets down. Useable with either batteries or an optional 9volt AC adaptor, the TU-12EX has an auto shut off so that batteries will not accidently be drained when not using it. The Boss TU-12EX is an improved version of an already established pro tuner.
