How do I choose the right drum sticks?
My usual answer to this question is a question or two. Do they feel good in your hands? What kind of music do you play? Do you regularly break a lot of sticks? The answers to these questions can help a drum salesperson to get you pointed in the right direction. If you are just starting out in the drum world my best advice is to start with a 5A wood tipped drum stick. Then you can go up or down is size from there.
