Boss RC2 Loop Station

This compact loop pedal is really easy to use. You WILL have to read the owners manual though, but it's not "brain surgery" (unless you're a brain surgeon who plays guitar….!). It has16 minutes of memory, which is more than enough to layer several minutes of multiple guitar parts. It can be used to perform with of course, but I really enjoyed just laying down chords and trying out different harmonies and riffs with it. It makes for a much more fun way to practice or hear your ideas. I like having a "normal" sized pedal too. It fits on a pedal board. If I need more recording options, I'll just use a digital recorder, but for on-the-fly multitracking of guitar at home or on stage, this is pretty freaking awesome.
